Tom"The Hypocritical Hammer" DeLay Speaking About Security Lapses in 2004 At Los Alamos
Here's What He Said Way Back in 2000 About Security Lapses During the Clinton Administration

Washington, DC: During the Clinton Administration, (2000) reports that nuclear secrets stored at the Los Alamos National Labratory were missing Rep. Tom DeLay (R-TX) issued the following statement: (goptoday.com)

Wednesday, June 14, 2000

“This latest incident at the Los Alamos National Laboratory is yet another sign that the Clinton-Gore Administration has failed to take the steps required to protect our nation's most sensitive military secrets. Regardless of the cause, this is an outrageous and unacceptable breach of national security.

“The Administration has resisted efforts by Congress to increase security at America’s weapons labs, and the breach reported today strongly suggests not nearly enough is being done to address a serious and growing problem.

“I hope the Administration will change course and work with Congress to improve deteriorating security at some of our nation’s most sensitive military and scientific installations.

“The American people have a right to expect that our nation's secrets are not being handled like airline luggage. We cannot afford any more mistakes or incompetence. Our national security is just too important.”

Hey Tom, anything to say about the security lapses in July 2004 under Dubya's Regime? Huh? Huh? I CAN"T HEAR YOU! Hypocritical SOB!

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
-- Theodore Roosevelt
